Björn has a background working for the UN in Africa with logistics and project implementation. More recently, he has worked in Haiti as a logistics specialist for sûrtab and as a process consultant for Digicel's Mon Cash mobile banking platform.
Fun fact: Björn is from Sweden, he met his Colombian wife in Darfur, got married in Hawaii, his first child was born in Kyoto, and his second child was born in Bucaramanga (Colombia). He is now trying to figure out how to get Australia and Antarctica involved in his family history to cover all the continents.
Dana is a customer service and customer retention maven with enterprise and startup experience. Prior to joining RE-VOLT Dana worked for TUI Group, Intelligent.ly, and Innovation in Action.
Fun fact: When not in Haiti, Dana enjoys not owning a car and commuting by bicycle.
Dan is a full-stack software engineer with experience leading data-driven teams in both the tech and finance sectors. Before joining RE-VOLT as CTO, Dan worked at Oscar, Palantir, and Goldman Sachs.
Fun fact: Dan's family runs a working cattle farm in northwestern Connecticut.
Darlyne just earned her license in Business Administration. Before joining RE-VOLT, she worked at Haiti Tec Info, Radio Inspiration FM, PIDIH in the Dominican Republic, and SMS Academy.
Fun fact: Darlyne loves to read and hang out with friends. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Darragh is a qualified accountant who thrives in fast-paced environments. He has extensive experience in forming and strengthening organizational structures and developing commercial strategy. Prior to co-founding RE-VOLT, Darragh worked for Digicel, sûrtab, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Fun fact: Darragh is a former member of the Irish Mountaineering Team and has summited numerous challenging peaks in the Andes, European Alps, and Himalayas.
Dume studied office administration, computers, and communications, and will be continuing his studies in linguistics. Before joining RE-VOLT, Dume volunteered for several local NGOs helping Haiti's homeless people.
Fun fact: Dume loves to read and speaks French, Creole, and English. He loves having new experiences and hanging out with friends.
Enock is a service specialist who is passionate about solving technical challenges. Prior to joining RE-VOLT, Enock worked as an IT specialist for the Canadian Red Cross and UMCOR institutions.
Fun fact: Enock is active within his church and enjoys going to the beach.
Esther studied communication and is currently pursuing a degree in management. Before joining RE-VOLT, she worked for Radio Melodie FM.
Fun fact: Esther loves to read romance novels, and is passionate about Zouk music and dance.
Evan is a construction and solar energy specialist with 4 years' experience as a hands-on manager of large teams in Haiti. Prior to joining RE-VOLT, Evan was a construction project manager for CEMEX and ACC, successfully completing several time-critical projects for Haiti's post-quake relief efforts. Previously, Evan worked as a sustainable energy consultant in Tanzania and China.
Fun fact: Evan speaks 7 languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Swahili, and Haitian Creole.
Ludner is a qualified accountant with more than 10 years of experience in Public, NGO and Private Institutions. Prior to joining RE-VOLT, Ludner worked for SIONFONDS For Haiti, Office National D'assurance Vieillesse (ONA), the American Red Cross, and sûrtab.
Fun fact: Ludner loves to spend his weekend going to church with his family.
Maarten has over two decades of experience as a leader in telecommunications and consumer services. Most of his career has been spent developing projects in new areas of business or in emerging markets - most recently in Haiti, where he has worked since 2009 as CEO and then Chairman of Digicel Haiti, the country's largest telecommunications provider. Besides his role with Digicel, Maarten also co-founded sûrtab, Haiti's largest manufacturer of electronic tablets, in 2012.
Fun fact: Maarten's first full-time job was building boats at a factory in England.
Rene is a qualified translator. Before RE-VOLT he worked as translator and assistant director for Forward In Heath. He also was a volunteer translator for GaskovClerge Foundation and an after-school teacher for the Rotary International Club
Fun fact: Rene has a degree in Landscaping and is an avid cinephile.
